Form for thought.

In a world of digital ephemera, we create objects worthy of your most important thoughts.

Hand-made. Archival. Portable.

Each Vessel is made in small batches using materials chosen for permanence, not trend. Japanese paper that won't yellow. Irish thread that won't fail. Beeswax-burnished covers that develop character with use.

Vessels are built to last. Made to be filled.

The Café Collection

Vessel: Dot Grid
$16.00

Archival. Hand-Sewn. Permanent.

48 pages of 100gsm dot grid paper from Japan, hand-sewn into a single signature with 4-ply linen thread from Ireland. The B7 format slips into any pocket, ready to capture ideas that deserve to last.

The dot grid offers structure without constraints. Sketch freely, write neatly, or ignore the grid entirely.

Each booklet is sewn by hand using traditional bookbinding methods. The result: a notebook that lies flat, holds its structure, and ages beautifully.

The 250gsm cardstock cover is individually burnished with a touch of beeswax. As you use it, the cover develops character. Wear marks become part of your story.

The design is minimal by intention. No embellishments. Function over decoration. The notebook gives agency to your thoughts, not itself.

This is not disposable. This is permanent form.

Continuous. Expansive. Unbroken.

270gsm 100% cotton paper from Italy, accordion-folded into the B7 pocket format. Unfolds to 39 inches — twelve panels on one side, eleven on the other. A surface for ideas that don't submit to grids or margins.

The interior paper is made from 100% pure cotton fiber, produced on a slowly running Fourdrinier machine. The result is an even, fine-grained texture with exceptional absorbency — suited to ink washes, watercolor, charcoal, and collage. It holds whatever you bring to it.
